| How does Invisalign work? Just like before starting any therapy, detailed examination, diagnosis and treatment planning in advance in our dental aesthetics centre are essential. The desired result of treatment is then simulated by means of the latest computer technology (ClinCheck). The dental models and the invisible aligners are then fabricated from the data of the computer simulation, after every shift of your teeth for every stage of the dental model. After the aligners have been fabricated, you correct the malalignment of your teeth by wearing these aligners for 14 days at a time, and then changing to the next aligner. The teeth are moved millimetre by millimetre until they come into the positions planned for them. To achieve an optimum result, you should wear the aligners around 22 hours per day. You can remove your aligner for eating and cleaning your teeth. What advantages does Invisalign offer? The aligner is invisible even from a distance of 50 cm, so that you can start with the treatment in every phase of your life. |
You can remove the aligner, in contrast to a fixed brace with brackets and wires. So you can eat what your like and care for your teeth in the best way possible.
